INFJ’s are the rarest and most complicated of the 16 types. Making up less than 2% of the population, it’s no wonder we often feel misunderstood. We’re sweet and sensitive, yet cold and tough. We’re feelers but we also place a lot of importance on things “making sense.” We want adventure, but it usually has to be planned or the overwhelm will kick in.
We love deep conversations but we also love being home alone on a Friday night, doing our own thing. We want to change the world, but aren’t always sure what part we play in making the world a better place. We always want to do the right thing, but it can be difficult because we’re major people pleasers who don’t want to hurt anyone. But most of all, we just want people to be kind to each other. We want people to love and respect each other. We’re a little contradictory and odd, but that’s what makes us unique and needed in this crazy overwhelming world!
As I was writing up a post the other day, I thought about how there’s no one better to describe the INFJ than my fellow INFJ’s! So, I searched #infj and #infjproblems on Twitter and spent a few hours looking for the best tweets that I feel truly depict the personality traits of the INFJ. I hope these tweets will make you feel less alone and more understood. And hopefully, you’ll nod your head in agreement like I did while reading them!
Which tweets did you relate to the most? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below! Also, I’d love suggestions for future blog posts on the INFJ. Maybe songs that represent the INFJ? Or TV or book characters that represent the INFJ? What would you like to read next?
